Central West Group Apprentices (CWGA) are holding Apprentice Blitz Days across the region during the October school holidays. The CWGA Apprentice Blitz day is an opportunity for school students and job seekers to apply for apprenticeships and traineeships coming up for 2009.
"With our Apprentice Blitz, we are trying to employ and train as many young people as possible, so they can stay in the area and maintain our local skills base which will keep our community growing." CWGA’s Alyssa Bennett said.
With the international skills shortage, trade careers are becoming highly sort after, highly paid and are providing rewarding opportunities. CWGA using their Blitz day to recruit for the best school leavers and job seekers in the Bathurst area to fill positions with some of the most respected companies and businesses in the region.
CWGA Group Apprenticeship Program Manager Alyssa Bennett says Apprentice and Trainees employed through CWGA have a much better chance of successfully gaining their qualifications. There will also be an Apprentice Blitz application day in Blayney on 10th October.
"CWGA Apprenticeships and Traineeships offer the unique combination support, paid work and structured training. Students who will leave school this year need to apply with us at our Apprentice Blitz day, for positions available now and into early 2009." Ms Bennett said.
If you want a real career opportunity with an Apprenticeship or Traineeship or at least register your interest, then the CWGA Apprentice Blitz is the place to be. There will be prizes and give aways. For further information you can contact your nearest CWGA branch.
