NSW Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships involves structured training and paid employment. It combines learning on the job with off the job training through an education provider like TAFE. The emphasis is on developing practical skills to a national standard.
Apprenticeships are generally undertaken over four years. There are no set requirements for obtaining an apprenticeship, but most employers prefer applicants to have completed Year 10.
Central West Groups Apprentices (CWGA) specialiase in recruitment of NSW Apprenticeships. Before training can commence, the prospective apprentice should apply to CWGA in the chosen trade./p>
